The Head, Strategic Communications, Counter-Terrorism Centre, Office of the National Security Adviser, Ozoya Imohimi, disclosed this in a statement titled, ‘ONSA, GCERF, ActionAid Nigeria hold two-day National Conference on localisation of policy framework and National Action Plan for PCVE in Nigeria’.

At a two-day national conference which ended on Friday, November 19, 2021, in Abuja, delegates who were drawn from the North-East, North-West and North- Central; traditional leaders, faith-based organisations and civil society organisations deliberated on the theme: ‘Scaling up by trickling down the localisation of the prevention and countering violent extremism policy framework and national action plan’.

According to Imohimi, the overall objectives of the conference were to provide a platform for multi-stakeholder learning and the development of recommendations, using the experience of a range of national, state-level and civil society practitioners and operationalising the PCVE policy framework in Nigeria.
